Oasis explores how future autonomous vehicles could become personal sanctuaries rather than just transport spaces. Set in 2060, the project rethinks the car interior as a retreat for wellbeing, privacy, and mental recharge during short intercity commutes. The goal was to create a space that feels calm, adaptive, and restorative.

Developed in collaboration with Gravity Sketch, the project began with spatial and architectural ideation directly in VR. This allowed me to sculpt forms at a 1:1 scale and explore new proportions without traditional layout constraints.
The early concepts revolved around balancing privacy and connection, designing flexible modes that transition from social to relaxation or spiritual states.I explored gesture-based interactions and subtle interfaces integrated into the environment.
Elements like privacy shields, sound-absorbing surfaces, and gesture-controlled VR visors defined how users could personalize their atmosphere. Health and wellbeing were also integrated through ideas such as auto health assessments, supplement dispensers, and vitamin infusions — envisioning a holistic mobility experience.

Oasis proposes an interior for a Level 5 autonomous vehicle with a negative-angle greenhouse and maximized cabin space. The seating layout transforms fluidly across privacy levels randing from solo retreat to shared social setting. Each mode is designed around emotional and sensory comfort, using light, material, and interface transitions to create a sense of calm presence.
