Prototype

REEM — short for REduce EMissions — is a concept app that visualizes the CO₂ impact of everyday transport choices.

By comparing routes and modes of travel, it encourages users to make more sustainable decisions and offset their emissions in small, tangible ways.

PROCESS

The project began with exploring different directions around sustainability by looking at product consumption to recycling behaviors. The transport concept stood out for its direct connection to daily habits.

Through personas, storyboards, and moodboards, the focus turned toward making ecological data feel approachable rather than moralizing.

The interface combines a clean, neumorphic aesthetic with calm green tones, reflecting both technology and nature. Typography, icons, and navigation were all designed for clarity and a consistent brand experience.

RESULT

The resulting prototype lets users select a route, mode of transport, and instantly see their carbon footprint.

REEM visualizes personal impact while offering suggestions to reduce or neutralize emissions and by turning awareness into action.
